English Conversation Time, Wednesdays, 10-11 a.m. (virtual) and Fridays, 6-7:30 p.m. (in-person)

English Conversation Time is a flexible program where international students can have meaningful interactions with native English speakers. The program helps international students practice their English in a safe, friendly space, and gives them the opportunity to learn more about American culture while sharing their own customs and culture with Americans. We are always in need of English speakers to be conversation partners. You can make a huge difference in the life of someone through this opportunity and you may make some new friends, too! Whether you can participate weekly or just occasionally, we would love to have you join us.

Global Spouse Connection, Wednesdays, 1-2:30 p.m.

Moving to the U.S. can be challenging for the spouses of international students and visiting scholars. We know that it can get lonely being at home with their children or alone while their husbands/wives or partners are busy with their studies and research work. The goal of this program is to help international spouses/partners make connections with Americans and find friendship and support within the Madison community as they embark on a new life in the United States. We are always in need of English speakers to be conversation partners.
